We all have those moments where our inner-critic is the only thing we can focus on.

On those days, do you surround yourself with the people that lift you up, or do something that you know makes you feel good?

We asked our Instagram community: What is one way you boost your self-confidence? If your confidence isn’t where you want it to be today, here are a few pieces of advice that helped the IDONTMIND community.

We hope these tips can help you too.

1

“For me, just don’t put too much pressure on yourself. Focus on the journey and not just the achievement.” — @cjrunemdown

2

“I look at myself in the mirror and say positive things about myself — what I like about who I am and I compliment my strengths.” — @stithsage

3

“I take time to journal my thoughts and clear my mind. Reflection is important for me to remind myself how far I have come and look at my little and big wins in life.” — @iam.lchamilton

4

“Every day I write down something I’m grateful for and something I am proud of.” — @micki_mifwest

5

“I focus on a positive point that happened during the day or the day before.” — @lesliedirocco

6

“I play my favorite playlist and have a solo dance party to lift my self-confidence.” — @_mel.mika

7

“When I take care of myself I automatically start to feel better about myself. Sometimes it takes a lot of work to just start taking care of myself in small ways — drinking water, eating when I should. When I do, I can feel the difference in my self-worth.” — @tessaactually

8

“I used to get annoyed at people telling me that going to the gym would make me feel better, but it honestly makes me feel so strong and empowered.” — @alyssahull

9

“I reflect on times when I felt the most confident. Those times are when I surround myself with those who bring out the best in me.” — @misslbackazusa
