May is Mental Health Month, and it’s time to let your mind move you! During the entire month of May, join our campaign and run, walk, or roll with us to inspire conversations about mental health and fundraise for IDONTMIND. Boost your mental health with every step you take, and help us say IDONTMIND in a big way.

In our first two years of Run IDONTMIND, over 1,500 people have moved nearly 10,000 miles and raised more than $50,000. For the 3rd Annual Run IDONTMIND, we hope to continue making a huge impact!

Our vision for a more mentally healthy world has sparked a movement for change. Your mental health and the mental health of your community can inspire you to take action.

Just like in mental health, everyone’s journey is different. Set a goal that makes sense for you, push yourself, and grow from the experience. It may feel daunting at first, but take it one step at a time. You don’t have to sprint for miles (or at all), just get your body moving! Challenge yourself in whatever way works best for you, and let every step you take feel like a victory. 

Run IDONTMIND is completely virtual. But even though you’ll be running on your own, remember that you’re not alone. No matter where you are in the world, you and the rest of the IDONTMIND community will all be working towards the same goal: to inspire conversations and to let your mind move you!

 
 

We want everyone to be a part of this experience, that’s why registration is completely free.

Our goal is to raise $15,000 to support our mental health resources like the IDONTMIND Journal, Ask a Therapist Series, the IDONTMIND Writing Workshop, and more!

If you’re in a position to support our campaign, please consider a suggested donation of $20 or starting your own fundraiser to promote your run.

Remember, the amount of money that you fundraise isn’t a measure of your success. It’s all about your commitment to help further our mission — and that’s what means the most.

    If you’re in a position to support our campaign, we’d love you to consider making a donation or starting your own fundraiser to promote your run. But don’t feel obligated! We just want to sweat it out for better mental health together!

  • You can use the images and captions in our spread the word toolkit to get started. Don’t forget to tag us (@idontmind). We’ll be reposting your photos over the month of May!

  • Once you’ve completed your run, you can log your distance here.

  • Yes! Even though Run IDONTMIND is a virtual event, we encourage you to get other people involved. For more information, check out our guide on how to organize your own group run.
